California Colorectal Cancer Program
The California Department of Public Health's Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (CCCP), in collaboration with the California Dialoge on Cancer, administers California's Colorectal Cancer Program (CRC).
CRC Goals
- Promote early symptom recognition by both healthcare providers and patients.
- Educate healthcare providers about current diagnostic recommendations for at-risk populations.
CRC Activities
- Offer health care provider training/Continuing Medical Education (CME) on colorectal cancer screening and diagnostic recommendations. CME
- Fund awards to community based organizations (CBOs) to implement health care provider trainings or community education in local communities throughout the state.
- Network with agencies and organizations to reach at-risk populations for colorectal cancer. Click here for a list of Partners.
