California Skin Cancer Prevention Program
Program Information
The mission of the Skin Cancer Prevention Program is to:
- Increase public awareness regarding the dangers of over exposure to sunlight
- Increase individual and organization-wide practice of sun-safety behaviors; and
- Decrease future incidents (new cases) of skin cancer among California residents
The target audiences are:
- Children under 15 years of age, their parents, and other care providers for children, and
- Outdoor workers
