Take the School Sun Safety Policy Challenge!

Open to all California classrooms reaching pre-school and kindergarten aged children.

  1. Complete the 10-question online survey Click Here
  2. Implement at least one sun safety policy or strategy at your school/facility by the end of May 2012 - Skin Cancer Awareness Month (order curriculum, resource, and/or school policy toolkit by clicking the link below)
  3. Send us a brief decription and pictures of activities by June 11, 2012 

Be one of the first 25 schools to complete the Challenge and receive a Sun Safety Activity Kit:

  1. Sun safety bucket-style hats for students (to the first 10 classes)
  2. UV Sensitive beads and leather string for future activities
  3. Solar Zone UV Sensitive color-changing t-shirts for teachers
